Security and agility for the funder

Institutions that invest in project development are essential for the Oswaldo Cruz Foundation (FIOCRUZ) to fulfill its role as a strategic government institution under the Ministry of Health, seeking improvements through its institutional commitment to public policymaking. FIOTEC has become an important component of this dynamic, which involves partners from all different areas.

Our expertise and continuously updated approach to funding agencies’ specificities and requirements result in seamless management of the funds during the project’s execution and conclusion. As a support foundation, we offer several advantages:

Publication of calls for proposals and administrative support for researchers in submitting their proposals
Project negotiation: our participation is crucial, starting with the first contact between the researcher and funder, and especially during specification of the necessary expenditures for the project’s execution and budget planning and meeting deadlines
Anticipation of accounting and financial reports, performing pre-audits during the project’s execution with the purpose of assessing whether the funds are properly managed, ensuring compliance with the funder’s rules and requirements and avoiding inconsistencies in the final stage
