Health and Culture Network, which is supported by Fiotec, promotes event in Rio de Janeiro - Fiotec

00redesaudeculturaThe 1st National Meeting of the Health and Culture Network, sponsored by Fiocruz Brasília in partnership with the Department of Citizenship and Cultural Diversity of the Brazilian Ministry of Culture (SCDC/MinC), will take place from December 3th to 5th, in Rio de Janeiro. This is one of the strategies of mobilization, education and participatory mapping of the Health and Culture Network, a project that is supported by Fiotec. The goal of the event is to strengthen promotion and health care that respect cultural diversity and social participation.

With the theme “Right to Cultural Diversity in Health”, the meeting is aimed at agents of several fields, such as health, environment, culture, scientific and technological development, social movements, among others. There are different forms of participation, which may be on-site or virtual. For this, you need to complete the single registration online registration, which will be available on the event website from October.

It is in the plan workshops, round tables, group work, product displays and dynamic of collaborative actions construction among participants, in different locations in Rio.

Health and Culture Network

Built from the Technical Cooperation Agreement signed between Fiocruz and the Brazilian Ministry of Culture in October 2010, “Health and Culture Network: promoting inclusion and quality of life” aims to strengthen relations between the State, organized civil society, the academy and other sectors involved in promoting and in health care.

It is a space of mediation between these actors, and adopts the shared management model in their virtual tools and on-site dynamics, driven by axes: mobilization; articulation; knowledge construction; registry and memory; education; information and communication between others.
