Success of the Young Apprentice Program of Fiotec is featured in two events - Fiotec

The Young Apprentice Program of Fiotec becomes more successful each day. An example of this was the invitation to the book "Dialogues on health and juvenile protagonism", published by the Oswaldo Cruz Foundation (Fiocruz), organized by Beatrice Camila Duqueviz and Natália Helou Fazzioni, members of the Social Cooperation Coordination of the Presidency/Fiocruz and Leonídio Madureira Sousa Santos, coordinator. The publication was launched on Tuesday (25/11), at the Polytechnic School of Health Joaquim Venancio.

During the release of the book, the authors were able to explain each of the initiatives. The Human Resources Supervisor of Fiotec, Patricia Lopes, attended the event to represent Fiotec and present the article on the program. She, along with other members of the HR department, Raquel Raad (manager), Aline Caputi and Flavia Xavier, are the authors of the published article. “When we were asked to write about program, it was actually very easy, because we already had everything very well aligned, but it was important because it gave us the opportunity to prepare a balance sheet of this first year”, said Patricia.

The articles that were published in the book presented some experiments aimed at children and youth, developed by the units of the foundation or by partner institutions, in addition to the Fiotec program. The aim is to show that the idea of initiatives having young people as protagonists is homogeneous at Fiocruz.

"Participating in this book provided many perspectives, strengthened our partnership with Fiocruz, especially in working with youth. It also permitted to consolidate our work in some way, such as transformers of an unequal reality and responsible for training these young people to the world of work", concluded the supervisor.

Five more articles make up the book. Read the book in full (in portuguese).

Participation in the State Forum for Learning

But it was not only the participation in the book that showed the success of the Young Apprentice program. Fiotec was also invited to participate in the State Forum for Learning, which takes place every two months, and also had an edition held on 11/25.

The purpose of the event was to discuss the learning program, addressing legal and behavioral issues of young apprentices. The collaborators Rachel Raad and Aline Caputi presented the dynamics of the Fiotec program and the importance of collaborators who are the instructors of the apprentice joining the program.

At the time, two young apprentices of Fiotec, Leonardo Borges and Ananda Cantarino, gave testimonies of how the program worked positively in their personal growth and development.

“It was very important to participate in this event to demonstrate to auditors that we do not have the sheer intention to meet the stipulated quota of hiring young apprentices. We hope to train professionals aware of their importance for the labor market”, said Aline.
