The celebratory event of KPMG’s 10th anniversary and launch of the book “Risk University - 10 years” was held at Cine Cultural Oi Futuro on November 21st. The celebration was part of a 6-month executive training on Governance, Risk and Compliance, of which Fiotec participated, represented by Luanara Damasceno, the institution’s Governance and Quality manager.

“In addition to the chance to broadcast the work done by Fiotec and its support foundations, as this is sadly something most people don’t know about, it was also the opportunity to strengthen the Foundation’s image with good practice, benchmarking and learning”, said Damasceno.

The GRC (Governance, Risks and Compliance) online training was taught over 24 weeks of practical cases and networking on Internal Audits, Risk Management and Compliance to improve the organizations’ management and control. Overall, 40 students participated, from all over the country and from different entrepreneurial sectors.

For the end of the training course, Fiotec presented the case “Fiotec Privacy Program - After each piece of data there is a person”. The goal of the project was to show how work is developed in a multidisciplinary form, focused on the person in their multiple roles at the service of privacy at the Foundation, based on the understanding that building a data privacy culture at Fiotec is the result of awareness-raising and training of individuals as owners of personal data.
