Fiotec hosted a series of meetings between teams involved in OTSS management. - Fiotec

In mid-June, Fiotec hosted a series of workshops bringing together actors involved in the execution of activities of the Bocaina Sustainable and Healthy Territories Observatory (OTSS -  Observatório de Territórios Sustentáveis e Saudáveis da Bocaina), which became Fiocruz’s permanent institutional program in 2020. The meetings allowed teams to meet in person, aiming at clarifying doubts and aligning processes.

The opening of the meetings, on June 12th, was performed by Fiotec's Projects team. The professionals talked about the dynamics in which the workshops would take place, encouraging everyone to introduce themselves. "This workshop is a very important step towards the integration of all parties involved, especially in the processes that permeate the management of projects supported by Fiotec. Knowing what and how each one operates, and their flows, generates value throughout the chain”, mentioned Fiotec's Project Manager, Maria Aparecida Ferreira.

The institution's analysts also discussed the attention points present in the Fiotec-Cogead Manual, an important instrument in the program management. Then, representatives of the Vice-Presidency for Environment, Care and Health Promotion (VPAAPS/Fiocruz) carried out a conversation regarding their interaction with the other actors involved in the execution of OTSS activities.

The day the workshops were opened at Fiotec was closed by the Observatory team, who presented projects that are still in the funding stage and the developments of other projects, that are already in progress. The idea shared at the end of the meetings is that workshops like this one should occur more frequently, enabling a joint and collaborative planning.
