The event brings together institutions to discuss data governance in purchasing processes - Fiotec

The Cubo Itaú innovation hub, in São Paulo, hosted the 1st edition of the Amigos do Cadastro event, which discussed, this Tuesday (8/8), the importance of data governance for the optimization of purchasing processes.

The discussions addressed points such as the governance of material registration in organizations, a process that, done efficiently and with prepared controls from the beginning to the end of the chain, can help to reduce unwanted costs. Ensuring organized and accessible information, in turn, gives more consistency to the data, allowing professionals to make good decisions faster.

“I was impressed by the importance of establishing a solid governance and the application of advanced technologies to raise the quality of this data”, reveals Rafael Freitas, Fiotec’s registration analyst. For him, it was important to attend to this event to gain insights and to update on the latest trends and approaches in data management. By his side at the event, also representing the institution, was Rafaela Oliveira, registration assistant.

The optimization of purchasing processes is a result of the detailed organization of material data in different efficient systems. The Amigos do Cadastro round-tables and lectures highlighted the importance of using quality governance tools, which allows the organization to quickly identify necessary items and facilitate the purchase of materials at competitive prices.

Rafael believes that in addition to efficient tools and processes, the teams need to be committed to adopting these practices. “Our effort to improve the accuracy of data registered at Fiotec not only optimizes our internal processes, but also brings an extra dose of confidence in our business rules”, he adds.
