Fiotec takes part in a meeting on the employability of trans people - Fiotec

On December 11, Fiotec was represented by Luanara Damasceno, Governance, Sustainability, and ESG Manager, at the 1st TransGarçonne Meeting for Employability, organized by UFRJ's University Extension Program. At the event, more than 10 professors and 16 university students from areas such as Gastronomy, Business Administration, Communication, Nutrition, and Social Work came together to strengthen the life and work paths of transsexual people.

The event's mission was to strengthen ties between the program and companies, boosting the insertion and permanence of transgender talent in the job market. Moreover, it was an opportunity to foster connections aimed at nurturing the blooming trans-friendly business community.

Luanara commented that the meeting was an opportunity to showcase the institution's Diversity, Equity and Inclusion actions. And, in addition, she was able to "listen to the experience of the speakers, the other participating companies and see how the university's knowledge is able to converge and contribute to this agenda in the organizational environment".

On this inclusive journey, Fiotec, in line with the Key Result Objectives (OKRs) of its strategic planning, seeks not just to get closer, but to be in harmony with partner organizations that contribute to the institution's diversity, equity, and inclusion strategy. This is an call for all professionals to unite in favor of diversity.
