Event discussed projects and innovation with Fiotec representatives - Fiotec

Once again, Rio de Janeiro was chosen to host the  Brazilian Congress of Management, Projects and Leadership, promoted by the Project Management Institute (PMI) on April 29th and 30th. Managers of the Fiotec Projects team participated in the 10th edition of the event, which gathered important names from the area in debates on innovative solutions and trends within the segment.

The opening panel of the Congress discussed the use of artificial intelligence and the professional future of project management, leading to a reflection on team solutions for the next years. Three aspects that were mentioned as essential for the work in integration with the new technologies are:  data working;  defining task requirements and specifications; and prompt writing skills.

Still on the 29th, the following panels debated the importance of assertiveness in team leading and the need for innovation in management, seeing individuals as the most important resources, above any process or tool.

Project management offices were the theme of the first panel on April 30th. In not longer than an hour, the aspects which could motivate the failure of a PMO were discussed, as well as the paths for them to generate value and deliver quality. Agile and innovative methods in health, a theme which directly dialogs with the support of Fiotec and Fiocruz projects, were also the object of the debate on the final day of the Congress.

“An event with a rich environment for exchanges and learning about the best practices and trends. The panels brought ongoing themes and were very inspirational,” remarks Aparecida Ferreira, project manager at Fiotec. Representing the institution in the Congress beside her were coordinators Amanda Ismael, Bene Alexandre and Eliana Cavalcante, also on the Projects team.
