Fiotec is now part of the Human Rights Working Group of the Ethos Institute. This means that the institution will be able to directly contribute to the construction of the National Human Rights and Business Policy, an initiative of the Ministry of Human Rights (MDH). Ethos is a reference organization in mobilizing companies and institutions to manage their businesses in a socially responsible way.
On June 21, the institute held a meeting of the Working Group at its headquarters in São Paulo that dealt with Due Diligence in Human Rights (DDDH) in the Value Chain, receiving approval to join MDH's self-managed events. In these meetings, perspectives and practical contributions that will feed the formulation of the National Policy are exchanged.
Fiotec's Governance, Sustainability and ESG team represents the institution at GT meetings. Analyst Céu Pozzali was at the last meeting and highlighted that the approval to participate in self-managed MDH events is a recognition of the work and relevance of the discussions promoted by the Group. “We hope that this collaboration will produce positive experiences and help us in structuring the Human Rights agenda at Fiotec itself, with practices, actions and the formulation of institutional policies”, she added.
Recently, Fiotec entered into a partnership with the Ethos Institute to internally promote initiatives focused on Human Rights. The organization contributes with tools that bring the perspective of social responsibility to institutional processes, in addition to helping to disseminate socially responsible professional behavior among employees.
