The Brazilian Association of Human Resources/RJ held on October 29 the official ceremony of its 2024 Human Being Award. The initiative is a recognition of professionals and organizations for their innovative projects, with exceptional results, which promote the evolution of management with people as an area of knowledge and human and business development.
Once again, Fiotec was among the finalists of the Award, winning second place with the case "Our biggest project is life", about the Quality of Life and Well-Being Program implemented by the institution. According to the human resources coordinator, Patricia Lopes, "the quality of life at work involves several aspects that go beyond physical health, including psychological state, level of independence, social relationships and the work environment". Therefore, she explains, the Program is structured based on the following pillars:
> Comprehensive health actions, incorporating the physical, social and mental dimensions.
> Welcoming and integration, with actions aimed at belonging and a healthy work environment.
> Diversity, equity and inclusion, promoting the training of PWDs, Libras course and affirmative vacancies.
> Parenting and career, with initiatives to support pregnant women, extended paternity leave, among others.
Also present at the award ceremony, the administrative director of Fiotec, Marcelo Amaral, highlights the importance of the institution being present on occasions like this frequently. "We have the opportunity to present our initiatives in order to promote the appreciation and care for the quality of life, physical and mental well-being of our professionals. In addition, of course, to learn about practices of other institutions that can be considered references for initiatives to be implemented at Fiotec".
In 2024, the 1st place of the Human Being Award was won by Fundação Petrobras de Seguridade Social [Petrobras Social Security Foundation] (Petros) with the case "Empowerment of People! A path of no return in Petros climate management."
