The Desembargador José Navega Cretton Auditorium, at the Central Forum of the Court of Justice of Rio de Janeiro (TJRJ), hosted the 2025 Social Responsibility Seal award ceremony on November 14th. This recognition is given to
encourage and promote citizenship for people in situations of social vulnerability, and Fiotec is among these organizations for yet another year.
“Today’s event aims to award the seal to Coaps partners who, this year, offered training courses and promoted the inclusion of the public served by the commission into the job market. These institutions also had other initiatives that provided more dignity to young people, the elderly, and people experiencing homelessness,” said Judge Renata Machado Cotta during the opening of the event. The judge is the president of the Social Responsibility Articulation Commission (Coaps) of the TJRJ (Rio de Janeiro State Court of Justice).
Fiotec received the 2025 Social Responsibility Seal for its work with 48 young apprentices in its administration, 10 of whom were placed through cooperation with Coaps, in addition to eight interns located at Bio-Manguinhos, one of Fiocruz's technical units in Rio de Janeiro.
In his speech during the event, Marcelo Amaral, administrative director of Fiotec, stated that the work done with these young people is not a duty or obligation, but rather part of the institution's and Fiocruz's mission. He emphasized that over 12 years of the Young Apprentice Program, Fiotec has contributed to the training and qualification of approximately 250 young people. “I speak with these young people monthly, and they always highlight the opportunity they are receiving, the possibility of qualifying themselves and understanding the dynamics of an organization in practice. We believe that this work transforms entire generations, and of course we are very proud of the partnership we have with Coaps. Knowing that these young people are being guided on the right path, giving them autonomy and showing them ways to transform their realities.”
In addition to the manager, Fiotec was represented at the ceremony by its Human Resources Coordinator, Patricia Lopes, and by team professionals Leandro Alves and Stefany Castro, who are directly involved in the institution's Young Apprentice Program.
Alongside Fiotec, the following organizations received the 2025 Social Responsibility Seal: Nossa Drogaria; 15th Civil Registry of Natural Persons of the Capital District (RCPN); Federal Revenue Service; Firjan/Senai; Casa & Vídeo; Fecomércio RJ; Semove; Social Service of Commerce (Sesc); Rio City Hall/Comlurb; National Service of Commercial Learning (Senac); and Supermercados Vianense.
