The Foundation for Scientific and Technological Development in Health (Fiotec) recently concluded its association process with Aberje. The arrival of the institution expands the presence of organizations linked to science, technology and innovation in health within the entity's ecosystem, strengthening the exchange of experiences and the dissemination of good practices in corporate communication and institutional management.
Established in 1998 and recognized since 2002 as a support foundation for all units of the Oswaldo Cruz Foundation (Fiocruz), Fiotec is a private non-profit foundation with administrative and financial autonomy. Its activities are focused on supporting research, scientific and technological development, education, innovation and the shared management of health programs and projects, in line with the mission of strengthening the Brazilian Unified Health System (SUS) and promoting the population's quality of life.
Fiotec adopts an integrated model of institutional communication that brings together different channels and formats aimed at internal, external and partner audiences. The area is directly linked to the Executive Board and is responsible for managing institutional channels, strengthening public image, developing endomarketing initiatives, employer branding and maintaining the relationship with Fiocruz.
According to Janaina Campos, manager of Institutional Communication at Fiotec, the association with Aberje represents an opportunity for learning and connection with other organizations.
“Communication plays a strategic role for institutions operating in complex and highly regulated environments such as healthcare. Being part of Aberje broadens the dialogue with peers and contributes to the continuous improvement of institutional practices,” she says.
In her view, the integration of communication, governance and strategy is essential. “Our aim is to offer quality experiences at every point of contact, strengthening reputation and trust in relationships,” she concludes.
