With 8,741 visits from other countries, being 728 per month and 24 per day, this version of Fiotec's institutional website has completed one year. The figures recorded represent 3.8% of the total number of accesses to the institutional site (both versions) over the period between March 2012 and March 2013. According to statistics made available by Google, the United States, Portugal, UK, India and Mozambique are respectively the countries which number of accesses was highest during that period.
Since it went live, the site strives to enable more interaction with international partners "We felt the need to better explain to these people what Fiotec is, and thereby make the execution of new international projects feasible", said Mauricio Zuma Medeiros, executive director of Fiotec when the version went live.
Fiotec's International Projects sector team commented that the site is the key for financiers to better know the institution. “The website is very functional, has a good design and makes useful information available to its visitors. The attitude to search the internet for information has a growing trend within companies and we believe that all who visit our website feel satisfied accessing it”, said analyst Heloisa Setta, on behalf of the team.
Constant improvements
Thiago Felix Fasano, Fiotec's web designer, said that, being an institution whose financiers are mostly from Brazil, the number of hits from other countries is quite expressive. "We can conclude that there is a demand for information contained on our website and we understand that these people are being served", he considered.
According to him, the trend is that this number will increase, as Fiotec is investing in prospecting international partnerships. "We must be prepared, and for this, we will invest in improvements to the English version of the website and will soon be launching the Spanish version", he finalized.
