The promotion of inclusion and access to work for adolescents in situations of social vulnerability resulted in the delivery of the Social Responsibility Seal to nine partner companies of the Court of Justice of the State of Rio (TJRJ) throughout 2024. Comlurb, A Nossa Drogaria, CIEE, Semove, Senac, Fiotec, Senai, CCR Barcas and Grupo Solidez received the acknowledgement this Thursday (11/28), at an event held at the TJRJ. The last two companies started the partnership this year.
"We can only solve it if we are together, it is necessary to rescue people's citizenship", said the president of the Committee for the Articulation of Social Programs (Coaps), Judge Renata Machado Cotta. "The project can grow, advance, improve with your support," said Judge Vitor Marcelo Aranha Afonso Rodrigues, who is also a member of the committee.
"I wanted to congratulate them for the project and for provoking the companies because it is not easy. We are new, we have been in this partnership for three months. We are concerned about housing, food and medical and psychological assistance", shared the representative of CCR Barcas, Karina Hucs.
At the meeting, the need for a different look at the challenges to give opportunities to people in situations of social vulnerability, such as those who live on the streets and, therefore, do not have an address, a cell phone for contact and, often, need care related to drug addictions and other mental health problems, was highlighted.
According to Comlurb representative Noemi Baptista, the main objective for next year is to go beyond meeting the number of vacancies provided in quota. "It's a turning point for them to move forward," he said. "Only education transforms, with the support of the public power", added the representative of Senai, Elizabeth Carvalho.
Thais Lins, now 27 years old, knows the power of a good opportunity up close. Currently, she is the one who recruits young apprentices to work at the company she works for, Fiotec. But a few years ago, she herself was on the other side. "I went to college in Psychology, worked in the Children's Court and got to know the situation of young people in shelters and in vulnerable situations. The Young Apprentice was the beginning of everything, I got to know all areas of the company and, today, I work in the Human Resources area, selecting these young people", she said, who, thanks to this professional trajectory, was able to leave her parents' house and conquer her own independence. "I see them full of hope in this place I've been," she shared proudly.
Also present at the ceremony were the representatives of Nossa Drogaria, Leandro Pereira; of CIEE, Luiz Gustavo Coppola; of Semove, Verônica Abdalla; of Senax, Bianca Guanabara; Fiotec, Patricia Lopes and Grupo Solidez, Fernando Príncipe, among others.
