On October 1st and 2nd, Fiocruz held the II Symposium of the Network of Technological Platforms (RPT), with the theme "20 Years of Connections, Discoveries and Future in Health". The event celebrated two decades of RPT's trajectory, highlighting its strategic contribution to scientific and technological advancement in the health field.

The RPT is a program linked to the Vice-Presidency for Research and Biological Collections (VPPCB/Fiocruz) and constitutes an important fundraising initiative, with the support of Fiotec, which plays a significant role in securing financial resources through the opening of projects (AEP), according to the guidelines of the Cogead/Fiocruz Manual.

Currently, Fiotec's fundraising programs, conducted by the institution's Monitoring, Control and Closure team, are gaining ground in the foundation's support practices due to their diverse models and ability to meet the specific needs of each unit. The RPT (Resource Transfer Program), in this context, is an excellent example of a robust program with a clear objective: "to provide access to specialized services and technical expertise for the scientific community and society, and to promote the internalization of innovative technologies."

The Symposium program included activities such as reconstructing the collective trajectory of the RPT, followed by the presentation of an institutional timeline. There was also the launch of a commemorative magazine celebrating the initiative's 20th anniversary, as well as a special session, "Identifying Advances – RPT Between Symposiums," which highlighted the program's main recent milestones.

A partnership that grows stronger. Igor Gama, a professional from the MCE team who represented Fiotec at the event, recounts that a special moment was the tribute paid by the VPPCB team to the supporting foundation. Professionals from the Vice-Presidency recognized the work done by Fiotec and highlighted the analyst's performance in addressing the demands of the RPT fundraising program. "It was an honor to receive this recognition, which symbolizes the positive impact of our work and the strength of this partnership. I am very grateful to my teammates, Shirlei Miguel and Ágata França, who were fundamental in my training and in developing the skills necessary to lead a program like this. Without their support and the knowledge, they shared, the results we celebrate today certainly wouldn't have been possible," emphasized Igor.
