The Institute of Science and Technology in Biomodels (ICTB/Fiocruz) hosted this Monday (12/16) the 1st Integration Workshop promoted by Fiotec. The meeting was part of the Fiotec Escuta project, an initiative created to promote an even greater approximation between the teams of the support foundation and Fiocruz units.

The technical director of Fiotec, Vanessa Costa, mediated the meeting that enabled a more direct and individual understanding of the needs and challenges faced by ICTB in the management of its projects. Alongside the institution's administrative director, Marcelo Amaral, and professionals from Fiotec's Project Management, Vanessa clarified doubts and listened to the contributions made by coordinators, inspectors, expense authorizers and other leaders of projects developed by the Institute.

As in other units visited, the meeting created an opportunity to closely observe the institutional particularities of ICTB. The idea is that project management, done in a shared way, also happens more closely between professionals, in a collaborative way.

Fiotec Escuta

The project has been taking place since the beginning of 2024 with the proposal to bring together the teams involved in the shared management of projects between Fiotec and Fiocruz. The meetings stimulate the sharing of experiences and new ideas for old problems faced, with the greater objective of optimizing the management of projects developed by Fiocruz.

Since February, Fiotec Escuta has promoted workshops at the Oswaldo Cruz Institute (IOC), Joaquim Venâncio Polytechnic School of Health (EPSJV), Evandro Chagas National Infectiology Institute (INI), and more recently at the National Institute for Quality Control in Health (INCQS). In addition to several other units in Rio de Janeiro, in 2024 Fiotec teams visited Fiocruz Ceará (Aggeu Magalhães Institute – IAM), Fiocruz Bahia (Gonçalo Moniz Institute – IGM), Fiocruz Amazônia (Leônidas and Maria Deane Institute – ILMD) and Fiocruz Minas Gerais (René Rachou Institute – IRR).
