Sigma is Fiotec’s newest partnership for the acquisition of reagents, research supplies and laboratory material. The agreement ensures a 5% discount for the institution in all purchases made, which means a reduction in the acquisition costs for all the projects supported by Fiotec.

On September 30, professionals from Fiotec’s Purchase team participated in a training session in the use of the company’s e-commerce site. Product quotations made by the platform are issued immediately, expediting their acquisition process.

“This quotation model reduces the deadline for the submission of proposals by exclusive suppliers significantly, and it also represents a way of saving money concerning the projects due to the discount we have managed to negotiate”, said Washington Gutember, analyst of the Purchase team.

Sigma has 300,000 products in its portfolio, and it keeps the purpose of contributing to find a solution to problems in the scientific sphere by collaborating with the global scientific community. All in all, the idea is to accelerate the access to a good health system for populations all over the world.
