On May 27th and 28th, Fiotec professionals attended the 49th edition of RHRio, the largest HR congress in the state. Promoted by ABRH-RJ, the event brought together experts from various fields to debate the future of people management in an increasingly dynamic, technological and diverse scenario. 

Fiotec was represented at the event by professionals from its People Management department, from different teams. Throughout the event, the group attended lectures and themed panels on Inclusion and Diversity, Emotional Health in organizations, Humanized Leadership and Neuroscience and AI.

For Elayne Castro, a Development and Selection professional, the experience was transformative: "It was undoubtedly an experience that contributed significantly to my professional career. I left the congress more motivated and with new ideas to share with my work colleagues, strengthening our purpose."

Luis Santos highlighted how much the reflections presented at the event dialogued with the daily practice of leadership: He is supervisor of the team responsible for Scholarship Administration at Fiotec. "Different points of view on relevant issues made me reflect on processes that I'm getting right and others that I need to adjust, in order to perform better as a leader and promote a healthy environment."

One of the highlights of this edition was the Growing Without Barriers Project (Projeto Crescer Sem Barreiras), an initiative aimed at valuing black professionals in the HR market. Also noteworthy was the LAB Experiência, a space for active experimentation with topics that are sensitive to organizational culture, such as well-being, inclusion and building healthier environments.

For People Manager Raquel Raad, the participation in the congress reinforced that Fiotec is on the right track: "the event brought us various approaches to diversity, mental health, happiness at work, positive leadership, humanization, listening and well-being [...] And I can say that Fiotec is very well placed in relation to other organizations, because we already have several structured processes and various people management actions in place."

Carolina Dias, who works directly on many of these initiatives at the institution, reinforced the power of the event as a catalyst for significant change: "I believe that, much more than acquiring new knowledge, we left with the certainty that HR is a transforming agent, capable of promoting meaningful connections and driving results driven by purpose and genuine relationships."

Fiotec's presence at the event reinforces the institution's commitment to constantly updating HR practices and aligning them with the transformations impacting the world of work.
